Okay, it's a little odd having the man I have no reason to fear (and yet still slightly do) at "work" with me, but I think Mr Professor Weasley will make a wonderful Charms teacher.

For those of you who don't know, my godfather is not the best with announcements...

It has recently been noted that there seems to be a large influx of anonymous comments coming into journals. Unfortunately, there is very little we can do about the problem at this point in time, and I've been assured the Ministry will be trying to trace these comments in hopes of finding out who or what is behind them. Until, and even after then...

1) It is HIGHLY suggested you hex your entries even to those within the castle or to a specific group. This eliminates their ability to read your entries and therefore reply to them.

2) DO NOT... I repeat DO NOT reply to them. This will only provoke them to look back further for information about you that they can use to scare you. Hogsmeade is currently occupied with some of the very finest Aurors in the department and none of them will allow any harm to come to the castle if it is humanly possible to do so.

3) Report any more happenings to the Administration so the journal replies might be tracked.

Almost twenty-five years, one would think that I'd be able to at least try to control myself during a cold.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be actually possible because every time I sneeze it seems, anything minor seems to suddenly change. Thankfully bone structure and the like takes far too much concentration for just a sneeze to mess it up, but if you see me with two different colours for eyes, please inform me so I can change that immediately. I'm going to see about some pepper-up in the mean time and hope I don't sneeze my hair blonde again... I leave that for far prettier people that can actually pull it off.

And with that, I'm off to ask Professor Summers if I can hide under my blankets for the day rather than frightening everyone with one red eye and one yellow eye.

No, I'm not going to try and pull it off as "former house pride".
